Founded by Rhonda and Bev, who met over a decade ago at a CrossFit gym, our center is a result of their shared passion for self-discovery and growth. Through Rhonda's non-profit, the Choose Courage Foundation, they've undertaken impactful initiatives to raise awareness about domestic violence.

FOUNDER
Meet Rhonda, co-owner of Waypoint Wellness HQ, and a certified Soma breathwork facilitator, MBSR Meditation practitioner, and sound healing enthusiast. Her journey with meditation, breathwork, and somatic bodywork spans nearly a decade, transforming her life on every level. Rhonda's vision is for Waypoint to be your oasis of healing, connection, and community—a place where you feel safe, seen, heard, and valued.

Joining Rhonda is Bev, whose six to seven-year journey with mindfulness and meditation has deepened her understanding of their profound benefits. Bev is dedicated to creating a welcoming and accessible space for everyone to take a daily break and explore their mindfulness journey. Bev works mostly behind the scenes and as support at events.

Mindfulness is the practice of being aware of the moment you are currently in. It’s being present with your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. It’s noticing and accepting within the present moment. Just noticing, without judgment.

Meditation is a practice involving mental and physical techniques to improve brain health and overall well-being. Meditation is more than trying to achieve a blank mind. You can meditate while walking, breathing, singing etc. Meditation is about noticing and releasing. There are many techniques that we can help you learn.
